The Crux is a classic approach shoe with a precise fit and grippy sole for technical approach and scrambling.
This is the third generation of this best selling approach shoe from Scarpa. The Crux uses a traditional suede upper to give a tailored and comfortable fit, with a full mesh tongue for increased breathability in hot weather. The down to the toe lacing allow for the fit to be adjusted for precision, like a rock shoe.
The latest version of the Crux benefits from a Vibram Megagrip outsole, the stickiest of all the Vibram rubber compounds and perfect for technical scrambling. The full rubber rand around the toe gives grip as well as protection and durability.
