The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust are one of the world's leading conservation organisations, with over 75 years’ experience of saving wetlands for people and wildlife. Their vision is a world where healthy wetland nature thrives and enriches lives.  They conserve, restore and create wetlands, save wetland wildlife, and inspire everyone to value the amazing things healthy wetlands achieve for people and nature. WWT have a long history of creating, restoring and managing some of the UK’s most important wetlands. However, many wetlands are isolated pockets in an otherwise poor landscape for wildlife. Many wetlands have lost at least some of the animals and plants for which they previously provided a home.
